Darlington Borough Council has a small 'Stronger Communities Fund' that can be used by individual wards and three Pierremont councillors, Mary Layton, Linda Hughes and Stephen Harker would like to donate £500 from this fund to DBKA.
We had great pleasure in inviting Stephen and Mary to our AGM where they were able to present a cheque to Annette McGaughey (DBKA Chair).
DBKA will use the funds to enable groups/schools etc to visit us at the Denes and to continue our education of the public on the importance of honey bees and other pollinators.
