WE HAVE ELECTRICITY AT THE DENES APIARY

Last year an application for a grant was made to OnPath Energy to help with the funding of a solar panel installation at the Denes. We were successful with our application and given a sum of £6000 towards the cost of a solar installation.

We were able to raise some additional funds from both OnPath and UK & Ireland SAP User Group who purchased some 45g jars of honey to take to the various conference they organise. This gave the committee plenty to do to meet the numbers of honey jars that were needed.
​
This has all paid off now because on Fri 6 March the installation was completed at the Denes, giving us much need power to the welfare unit. Conduits have also been laid in the ground to enable connection when we complete our biggest project, the education suite.
