To join Darlington Bee Keepers Association please email the Membership Secretary on the email address at the top of this page, ensuring that you send your full name, address (including Postcode). You will then be sent an online application form to complete.

Full Member
Have all the benefits of membership including the BBKA's Public and Product Liability Insurance and Bee Disease Insurance for 3 colonies, plus the BBKA News.
Partner Member
Live at the same address as a full member and have all the benefits of membership including the BBKA's Public and Product Liability Insurance and Bee Diseases Insurance for 3 colonies, but do not receive the BBKA News.
Country Member
This category is for non-beekeepers who wish to receive the BBKA News. No insurance is in place through DBKA for this class of member.
Junior Member
Available to anyone under the age of 18 on September 1st. Who keeps or intends to keep bees on their own account. They will be entitled to the same BBKA Public and Product Liability Insurance and Bee Disease Insurance as a full member for the first 3 colonies.
Junior Associate Member
Available to anyone under the age of 18 on September 1st. No capitation is paid to the BBKA and they have no Public and Product Liability Insurance through BBKA and no Bee Diseases Insurance.
School Member
Eligible through one member of school staff with full DBKA membership. Please contact our Memberships Secretary for further details.
Associate Member
Registered or partner member registered with another Association.
