DBKA VISIT NATIONAL BEE UNIT - JUNE 2023

Delayed by COVID, some DBKA members finally managed to visit the National Bee Unit.

We felt extremely luck as we are the last visitors that will be able to physically visit and meet the Bee Inspectors and NBU staff. It was a fascinating day being shown around their apiary and understand how it supports the research that the NBU is undertaking. After that we were taken to one of the labs to look at AFB and EFB and learn more about what they do here.

A massive thank you to all the team we met and taking the time out of their busy day to make us feel so welcome and deliver and interesting and informative visit.
